Aims：

Enhance students’ language foundation through sentence-making practices.
Strengthen students’ communicative capacity in Chinese-speaking, and to increase their confident in learning Chinese.
Reinforce the teaching quality of our newly-employed Chinese language teachers.

Activities in the current year :

Year round	Strengthen students’ sentence-making training, thus the language’s foundation of our students can be greatly enhanced.	Pupils can demonstrate the following qualities during lesson time:
Year round	Operate in coordination with Let’s Speak Chinese Together project; subject teachers are to teach students the theme-based vocabularies during lessons, so as to awaken the learning confidence in our students.
Year round	Regularly restrain students’ learning progress through progress evaluation in P.1-2
Year round	Promote Chinese Preparation Book in P.3 - 6, nurture students’ tendency to study independently.
Year round	Carry out Chinese Handwritten Notebook in P.5 and P.6.
Year round	Provide Chinese teaching workshops for new subject teachers.	New teachers are clear about the school visions and missions, adapt to the school culture and can learn, teach and lead pupils to learn by following the pedagogies suggested by school.
